Inspired by Inconscious Wave Concept, Alive Concrete original production, borns to share selected musical projects, hosting musicians for live music sessions and interviews, and discover the active and important role they play, in musical and cultural panorama.

Griffini Correntiduo
A powerful journey from baroque to contemporary music. The long lasting musical duo by Gloria Griffini (piano) and Luigi Correnti (double bass), presents its programme which includes the famous Sonata in Sol Minore by the english author Henry Eccles, and Kicho and Milonga del Ángel by Astor Piazzolla, arranged and adapted for the ensamble. An interpretation of classics able to shapes poetic and exciting atmospheres that empower the ability of the two musicians. Let yourself be enchanted by the extraordinary performance of Gloria Griffini and Luigi Correnti.

Luca Gusella
From jazz music to film music scores and classical vibraphone studies: the Italian percussionist Luca Gusella lead us through his own The Solo Project. Began two years ago, this original project finds its place in an inedited performance that mixed the percussionist skills and musical interests as arranger and multi-instrumentalist, embracing the electric bass, vibraphone and Mallet Kat. The musical program includes his own composition Felix and the famous Amanda (which is played all over the world), N.26 by David Friedman arranged for vibraphone and bass, Au Lait by Pat Metheny and the classic Metti una sera a cena by Ennio Morricone. Together with music, we'll discover Luca's long and eclectic career with an inedit interview, learning more about his story.

Trio La Sonrisa
Argentine Music in a brilliant and original perspective: meet Trio La Sonrisa with Ciro Fiorentino (guitar), Claudio Ballabio (guitar) and Massimo Orlando (flute). A refined and tricky live performance, played by an unusual ensemble will lead us discovering the repertoire of the contemporary author Máximo Diego Pujol together with the original compositions written by the Trio. The curiosity and knowledge of three musicians and teachers, brought in the inspiring interview that you really can’t miss.

Contrabbandduo
A new perspective on accordion and its possibilities, explored through a rare music program, with the iconic CONTRABBANDduo by Mario Milani (accordion) and Luigi Correnti (double bass). The powerful original compositions written by the composer and accordionist Mario Milani, will lead us into a captivating journey in which jazz, classical, ethnic and south american music become a spectacular melting pot of rhythms, harmonies and melodies. With an eye on classical music repertoire, Milani will show a brand new approach to writing for this ensemble on the two masterpieces, Bach' Toccata e fuga in Re minore (BWV565) and Zipoli's III mov, from Sonata II in Sol minore, together with the strong and huge double bass played by the highly skilled Maestro Luigi Correnti. A must-see challenging performance by two extraordinary musicians.

Mario Rusca
An exclusive event to learn about the life and career of an artist who made history: we are proud to announce that Maestro Mario Rusca is the protagonist of the last episode of Alive Concrete Series. Mario Rusca is a real Italian Jazz pianism legend: with more than 60 years long career on the scene, he has collaborated with some of the greatest Italian and international artists such as Gerry Mulligan, Tony Scott, Stan Getz, Lee Konitz, Chet Baker, Enrico Rava and Tullio De Piscopo. Resident pianist of the iconic Italian jazz club Capolinea, he contributes to develop Jazz in the country and abroad with his work and commitment to the club, and his participation to relevant international festivals, together with his avant-garde discography. We’ll have the privilege of having Maestro playing from a secret location, for a solo piano concert, and together we’ll join a talk about his story in an exclusive interview that will uncover his musical career and Italian Jazz history. The last episode of Alive Concrete awaits you, together with Mario Rusca.
